| - What would you do for your best friend's, or say, husband's 30th birthday?
- What would you like/What did you do for your 30th birthday?

| The older I get, the more confusing my ethnicity appears to people. I had been asked if I was an aboriginee from Taiwan, Korean, Japanese, and mixed these past 3 weeks. And now sitting at the Narita Airport in Tokyo, an Malaysian lady sat down next to me and started speaking to me in Malaysian, thinking I was one of her people. I should run for Miss (or Mrs) Asia -- a perfect blend of the peoples of the East. | | |

Happy Lunar New Year. This is the first year that I officially can't get any red envelopes. Once I'm married, I am no longer a kid, and that is the only requirement for getting the big pouch of cash. hmmmm. oh well. My husband is so worth it. um, it's the Pig's year all right.

| It's coming again. The date of my birth. Technically, it's already my birthday since I come from the far east and it's half a day ahead of us here. To think, I've already been in the US of A for over 8 years.... People have said "happy birthday" to me in English, instead of Mandarin or Taiwanese, for the past 7 times. And Lord willing, for a couple of more times in English, I'll start receiving birthday cheers and blessings in Russian and Kazakh. Here's my first birthday...
Oh gosh, Taiwanese food sounds great right now....
| I tought this could be the best way to communicate and connect with all my loved ones... Xanga. Okay that's just a joke. I want to talk to all my friends and family on the phone at least, if not over a meal. The wedding was a blast. We worshipped our Lord and made the covenant with Him, in the presence of many, many witnesses. What other events can you have your favorite people in the world gathered in one room FOR YOU? Dang. So we got some pictures from the festivities, including our second wedding wedding in Taiwan. We ate a lot, to say the least.

Glad to be home, though.
